Arrow-leaved Coltsfoot

Petasites frigidus var. sagittatus

A wet-meadow and fen perennial with large arrowhead-shaped leaves (up to 30 cm long) that emerge after the flowers. White flower clusters appear in early spring on short leafless stalks before the foliage. Spreads via rhizomes to form extensive colonies β€” excellent wet-area groundcover where space is not an issue.
