
Bog Rosemary
Andromeda polifolia
A delicate evergreen shrub of Alberta's northern bogs, with tiny pink urn-shaped flowers on leathery arching branches. Despite the name, unrelated to culinary rosemary — all parts contain grayanotoxins toxic to humans and livestock.
