Rubus chamaemorus
A tiny herbaceous raspberry of Alberta's northern boreal bogs and muskeg, producing amber-gold berries with an intense honeyed flavour — prized across circumpolar cultures from Sami to Inuit to Norwegian. Unlike most Rubus, grows only 10–25 cm tall and produces a single berry per plant per year. The jewel of the northern bog.
