Dewberry

Rubus pubescens

Also called Dwarf Raspberry or Trailing Raspberry. A diminutive trailing perennial of Alberta's moist woodlands, producing scattered small red berries on nearly-flat stems. Flavour is outstanding — considered by many foragers the sweetest of Alberta's wild raspberries — but berries are small and scarce.
