A graceful arching native perennial 30–80 cm tall, with alternating lance-shaped leaves and terminal plume-like clusters of small creamy-white flowers — giving it the alternate name Solomon's Plume. Red speckled berries ripen to solid red in late summer. A handsome woodland garden plant.
