Agastache foeniculum
Also called Anise Hyssop — a native prairie perennial in the mint family with anise-scented leaves and dense purple bottlebrush flower spikes beloved by bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Leaves make a lovely licorice-flavoured tea. Grows about a metre tall and self-seeds readily. One of the highest nectar-producing native flowers in North America.
