Pothos

Pothos

Epipremnum aureum

One of the most forgiving houseplants on earth — a trailing aroid from Southeast Asia and the Solomon Islands that tolerates low light, irregular watering, and dry indoor air. Propagates easily from stem cuttings in water. Several cultivars exist (Golden, Marble Queen, Neon, Manjula, and more). Mature plants develop enormous fenestrated leaves when allowed to climb, but almost never do so as houseplants — juvenile form is familiar.
