A small evergreen orchid of Alberta's mossy conifer forests, named for its distinctive white-veined dark green leaves (said to resemble snakeskin). Spikes of small white flowers in mid-summer. Unlike most orchids, tolerates some soil disturbance β€” but still do not transplant wild plants.
