Rosa woodsii
A mid-sized native rose of Alberta's woodlands, thickets, and coulees — typically 1–1.5 m tall with paired thorns at the nodes (distinguishing it from densely-prickly Wild Rose). Clusters of 2–4 pink flowers, followed by orange-red hips persisting through winter. Forms thickets by suckering.
