Bird's Nest Fern

Bird's Nest Fern

Asplenium nidus

A tropical epiphytic fern with bright apple-green strap-shaped fronds emerging in a rosette from a fuzzy brown central 'nest.' Found naturally growing in tree canopies across Southeast Asia and the Pacific. Unlike most ferns, fronds are broad and undivided — more like a giant tropical houseleek than a lacy fern. Non-toxic and pet-safe.
