Echeveria
Echeveria elegans
The classic 'Mexican Snowball' rosette succulent — pale blue-green leaves in a tight rose-like arrangement, edged pink in bright sun. Native to semi-desert Mexico. Produces offset pups generously and blooms with arching pink-and-yellow bell-flowers on tall stalks in spring. Requires more direct sun than most houseplants; pale elongated rosettes (etiolation) mean it's light-starved.
