Long-stalked Starwort

Stellaria longipes

A delicate perennial of Alberta's meadows, wet shores, and alpine tundra, with tiny white 5-petaled star flowers (each petal deeply notched, giving a 10-petaled appearance) on thread-thin stalks 10–20 cm tall. One of Alberta's most widespread starworts — occurs from prairie to alpine.
