Oxalis
Oxalis triangularis
Also known as Purple Shamrock or False Shamrock — a Brazilian tuberous perennial with striking deep-purple triangular leaflets that fold up at night and reopen in the morning (nyctinasty). Produces delicate pale-pink flowers through much of the year. Has a natural dormancy period when foliage dies back — stop watering and store cool until new growth emerges in 2–8 weeks.
