Oxeye Daisy

Leucanthemum vulgare

⚠️ NOXIOUS — looks innocent but is a serious rangeland invader. A 30–80 cm European perennial with classic white-petaled yellow-centred daisy flowers. Often still sold in uninspected 'wildflower' seed mixes — do not plant. Forms dense monocultures in pastures, reduces forage quality, and produces 25,000+ long-lived seeds per plant. Do not confuse with the native showy asters or fleabanes.
