Spider Plant
Chlorophytum comosum
A South African classic — arching grass-like foliage striped green and white, producing long stems tipped with baby 'spiderettes' that can be rooted into new plants. Extremely forgiving, tolerating low light, dry air, and erratic watering. Safe around cats and dogs, though cats may be mildly euphoric chewing the leaves.
