
Water Hemlock
Cicuta douglasii
Considered North America's most violently toxic plant. Causes convulsions and death rapidly if any part is consumed. Looks similar to wild parsnip and water parsley. Found near streams, marshes, and wet meadows throughout Alberta. Do not handle without gloves.
